After being initiated, every new member goes on a number of sister dates with the girls in the member class above. Once the new members have gotten to know the girls a year above them, and vice versa, both member classes fill out a survey form of who they want as their Big and Little, respectively. Based on these answers, new members get paired with their "Big Sister." When everyone has been matched, Big/Little week begins and the new members receive baskets of gifts and random deliveries from their still anonymous Big Sister. When the week ends, Big Sisters reveal their identity to their littles in festive ways. Big/Little is not only a really fun week for all of our members, but it is also a great way for the new members to get to know the older girls. Having a Big sister on campus is like having a mentor and role model who is always there to support you.
